Refund Policy

1) Made-to-order policy (all sales are final except quality/fulfillment issues)
All items sold through The Atelier by KL are made to order. For that reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind, incorrect size selection, or preference-based reasons (e.g., “fits differently than expected”). This approach is standard for made-to-order goods.
2) If something arrives wrong or defective, we’ll fix it
We will offer a replacement or refund if your item arrives with a verified issue, including:

Damaged item (e.g., torn seam, damaged blank, shipping damage)

Misprint / print defect

Incorrect item received (wrong product, color, or size compared to your order)
To be eligible, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

your order number, and
-
clear photos showing the issue (and packaging if relevant).
If approved, we may:

issue a free replacement, or
-

3) Returns (only when confirmed)
We do not accept unsolicited returns. If a return is required, we will confirm return instructions by email first. Unconfirmed returns may be refused.
If a confirmed return is required:

Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed, and returned in original packaging where possible.

Return shipping costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless we state otherwise in writing.
4) Cancellations and order changes
Because items enter production quickly, we can only guarantee cancellations/edits before production begins. If you need to change an address or cancel, email info@koshlughat (international) or SMS* order number to +19135485011 (US/CAN). Orders that have entered production may not be cancellable. *Rates may apply.
5) Shipping issues (lost, delayed, marked delivered)

Lost in transit: Contact us no later than 7 days after the estimated delivery date so we can review next steps.

Marked “delivered” but missing: Carriers may require the recipient to file a claim. We can provide supporting info, but outcomes depend on the carrier’s investigation. (Some fulfillment terms also state that items marked delivered may not be eligible for refund/reship.)

Delays: We don’t guarantee delivery dates; shipping timelines can change due to carrier delays, customs, weather, or peak seasons.
6) International orders (US/UK/CA)
For cross-border orders, additional charges may apply upon delivery, including duties, import VAT/GST, and carrier brokerage/handling fees. These are assessed by the destination authority/carrier and are not included unless explicitly stated at checkout.
7) How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times can vary by bank/card issuer.
8) Statutory rights
This policy is intended to be transparent and practical for made-to-order goods. It does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply under local law.
