Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Kosh-E-Lughat (“KL,” “we,” “us”) and The Atelier by KL (the “Site”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1) Kosh-E-Lughat is a online Urdu culture magazine and studio. The Atelier by KL is our in-house shop for made-to-order apparel and accessories. Both entities are owned and operated by Kharal Family (USA), a limited liability company.

 

2) Orders and payments

Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

Prices are listed in [USD] unless stated otherwise.

We may update pricing, products, and availability at any time.

 

3) Made-to-order production

Many Atelier items are produced on demand. Production starts after you place your order. Because of this, processing times may vary and are separate from shipping time.

 

4) Shipping and delivery

Estimated delivery windows are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, customs, weather, or peak seasons.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If an order is returned due to an incorrect/insufficient address, reshipping costs may apply.

 

5) Returns, exchanges, and refunds

Our return/refund rules are outlined in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. If there is a conflict, the Refund Policy controls for returns/refunds.

 

6) Product variations

Minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes (including fabric, dye, and print/embroidery placement). These are normal and do not qualify as defects unless the item is materially different from what was ordered.

 

7) Intellectual property

All Site content (including text, graphics, product designs, logos, and images) is owned by KL or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or use our content or designs without written permission.

 

8) User conduct

You agree not to:

misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt Site functionality;

use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity;

infringe on KL’s intellectual property or the rights of others.

 

9) Links and third-party services

The Site may include links or services provided by third parties (payment processors, shipping carriers, print partners). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or service interruptions.

 

10) Disclaimers

The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

 

11) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.

 

12) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
